During our recent visit to the Art Institute of Chicago, my husband and I stopped to view the fascinating sculptures from Indian, Southeast Asian, and Himalayan Artin Galleries 141-143--the main walway between the museum buildings.
The images will inspire you whatever the focus of your research.
This image of Shiva as Lord of the Dance, is from the Chola period, 10th/11th c.
